"...did ________ make any new videos...?"
About The Channel: AMVGuide & Phantasmagoriat AMV Productions
For those who are unfamiliar with the hobby of AMVs, it may be worth noting that online, the Creators/Editors of Anime Music Videos (AMVs), can often go by some pretty bizarre Usernames; otherwise known as an Alias, Nickname, 'Nick,' Screen Name, or Studio Name. (If you know of any bizarre/cool nicks,
leave a comment below). In doing so, it may add a sense of flair or mystery around the Editor so that others in the hobby recognize their online presence...

Additionally, it may help add a sense of anonymity for those that wish to have their identities remain private. Although sometimes, editors will use their real names too --and that's not a bad way of doing it either-- since I find these editors are far more open about themselves... without hiding behind a screen name. Of course, in doing so, one has to be careful with the things they do online, since it's their real name being used, so it's kind-of a "Double-Edged-Sword."
Conversely, by choosing your own username, one needs to be prepared to have that username represent themselves as an editor, so the name should be chosen carefully, because it might stick with you for a while. One example of this would be the channel I'm using for AMVGuide. The channel was originally created to catalog some AMVs made by myself-- the editor known as "Phantasmagoriat," ("Phan" for short), or "Phantasmagoriat AMV Productions" as an AMV Studio.
It seemed like a good idea at the time... but I've changed a lot since then. So, while it might not be the best way to represent myself now, it will always be the name that represents everything I've done for the past several years. And I've uploaded so much content that I don't want to migrate to a new account now-- so I'm just going to keep it the way it is... even if that means putting up with the strange looks I get from people every now an then. Actually... in a way... it's kind-of amusing :P
Anyway. Since then, the "Phantasmagoriat" channel has evolved into "AMVGuide" to host a number of useful AMV Playlists: Top-Rated AMVs to serve as good AMV examples; Promotional Videos; as well as Video Tutorials for those who are interested in getting involved in the Hobby of AMVs.
